Project Engineer – High-Rise Mixed Use | Maroochydore

A highly respected national builder who are emerging in QLD is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a landmark high-rise mixed-use development on the Sunshine Coast.

This development will consist of luxury residential apartments, retail, and commercial space, representing a significant addition to Maroochydore’s evolving skyline.

The Role
This is a key technical position within a highly resourced and high-performing project team. The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Senior Project Engineer and Site Engineer, providing hands-on support across all phases of construction and ensuring structural and architectural works are delivered to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and coordinating design documentation, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews
  • Assisting in planning, sequencing, and delivery of structural works, including post-tensioned slabs and concrete structures
  • Preparing and monitoring ITPs, QA documentation, and site inspections
  • Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Supporting procurement processes and material tracking
  • Monitoring progress, cost control, and reporting to senior management
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges on site
About You
  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proven experience delivering multi-storey or mixed-use developments
  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, concrete construction, and façade interfaces
  • Skilled in managing RFIs, ITPs, QA processes, and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
